Tell me more about pød?
Mark, our founder has been sourcing and supplying aluminium containers from his barn in Berkshire since 2004. He is passionate about their sustainability credentials and with the rise in awareness about single use plastic, wanted to offer his recycled and fully recyclable aluminium range directly to customers for the first time.

Can you tell me more about the pød travel bag?
Our travel bag is great quality, double layer organic unbleached cotton.  It is ethically made in the UK and designed to replace the plastic lined wash bags that dominate our bathrooms.  If left in suitable conditions, the bag would biodegrade in approximately 5 months.  However, our hope is that you will be using this bag for years to come, either for your travel products or in your bag for storing quick food purchases.  Like anything made from organic cotton, you can also cut up and re-use the bag as cleaning cloths.  We recommend machine or hand washing at 30 degrees. The dimensions are 230 x 200 x 60 mm.

How do I clean my pød aluminium products?
We recommend using warm, soapy water and a biodegradable washing cloth or brush.  You can also put your containers in the dishwasher. Please be careful when removing them as aluminium is an excellent conductor of heat and they might be hot!

What capacity are your products?
Our aluminium screw top bottles hold 100ml of liquid, making them perfect for air travel and our corked pots hold 115ml.  Look out for our smaller round containers of varying sizes, launching November 2018.

I'm having trouble getting the pump to work?
Make sure you screw the pump on tightly the first time you attach it to the bottle.  Hold the neck of the bottle with one hand and follow the arrows on the top of the pump, by turning the pump anti-clockwise with the other hand.  You will notice the pump slightly loosens after turning a few times.  If you press down now you should be able to pump lotion or other liquids through. To lock, turn clockwise until the pump no longer presses down.

Can I store food in my pød aluminium products?
All of our aluminium containers have a food and drink safe lining that is BPA free and FDA approved.  This lining also doesn't stop them being 100% recyclable.
